...and then, Psychology happened. The class, not necessarily the concept. I was sitting there this morning, taking notes on defense mechanisms when BAM: displacement. For weeks, I've been toying with a story idea based on someone's suggestion, and displacement (hard to describe without telling you my story idea) was the key word in all my brainstorming. Call it a sign, call it a coincidence, call it crazy, I don't care.
I'm going to try.
And with school, family life (or avoiding it...), college apps (AGAIN, DAMNIT!), health stuff, and weekend nights spent mainly at Johnny Rockets, it could very well be extremely difficult. Support would be lovely.
And Candace- you're my favorite inspiring butterfly :)

You are my hero. I have the time and I don't want to do it this month... it'll mess up my writing style, especially on this book that I'm working on. Though I am going to try and write every day on it... just not 1,666 words a day.
We'll see how long I last, but thank you for the support already! Working on your own book should still count as NaNo-ing, I think. It is, after all, National Novel Writing Month. Just because you don't follow the guidelines listed on one website doesn't mean you're not participating. :)
